Those early morning hours between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m. Depending on where you are and what season, it can be the best part of the day. I prefer those times during the spring and summer. When you go outside just as the sun is coming up and the air is cool and crisp. You can see the dew on the grass, shrubberies, and even the spider webs that stretches between them. Where the back yard was once a mess, is now something out of a movie with the morning fog hovering just above it. The air is so clear, you can hear the traffic on the highway that’s 1-2 miles away. And the musty smell of damp wood fills the air. It’s that time of the morning that makes my day, when majority of the public is still asleep. I am usually on the road before most turn over for the last time.
Some summer mornings, I find myself sitting out on the deck in the back with a hot cup of my favorite coffee. As the day goes on and the weather heats up, that’s when I start anticipating the next morning and when I walk out the front door, the world is at PEACE!
